Activity Report 2015-2016
Agri-Traçabilité Québec (ATQ) is pleased to present the 15th edition of its Activity Report.
On March 14, 2016, ATQ officially launched the new SimpliTRACE application. The highlight of the 2015-2016 year, the implementation of this new tool aimed at optimizing the data search and processing procedures related to epidemiological management, has provided Quebec with a high-performance system. Developed in order to facilitate data entry and the processing of livestock declarations, SimpliTRACE ensures the quality of information transmitted to the database, an essential element in the effectiveness of the system.
As ATQ celebrates its 15th anniversary, this major technological breakthrough constitutes a pivotal moment in the evolution of the traceability sector. ATQ has worked in parallel with its trusted partners and stakeholders who have been involved over the last 15 years in contributing, in a significant manner, to the implementation of this leading-edge initiative.
In other areas, Agri-Traçabilité Québec has consolidated partnerships while continuing to provide support th the traceability initiatives of its partners, and continues to work in the different sectors of the agricultural industry to implement traceability systems, notably with Dairy Farmers of canada (DFC), the Canadian Pork Council (CPC), and the Éleveurs de porcs du Québec.
