Last chance to buy cheaper traceability tools

Subsidy funding is currently proposed for the last time to the bovine, ovine and cervid producers who wish to benefit from traceability tools at affordable prices.
This offer ends January 21, 2013 (in accordance with the availability of funds under the Growing Forward program).

Cost Reductions

The Allflex, Syscan and Gallagher reading sticks tools help in reducing paperwork and the risk of error as well as facilitate identifier reading. These reading sticks distributed by ATQ, usually sold between $600 and $1000, will be offered for a limited time to regional UPA at prices ranging from $85 to $165.

Moreover, ovine producers are also eligible to other reductions on the cost of a PDA Traçabilité and PSION BerGère.

Training included

ATQ offers training on the operation mode of the traceability tool to help producers to familiarize with the equipment acquired. Their only obligation will then consist to transmit electronic traceability data to ATQ.

Subscriptions in progress

To know how to subscribe, producers are invited to contact the UPA of their region or the Fédération des éleveurs de grands gibiers du Québec.
