It is with great pleasure that we would like to present to you the 2017-2018 edition of the Agri-Traçabilité Québec Activity Report.
The document presents a summary of operations and reports on the various issues and events that have been central to ATQ's activities this past year.
Continuous improvement has always been a primary concern for Agri-Traçabilité Québec. Hence, in 2017-2018, in addition to its regular activities, ATQ has been involved in various projects such as improving the system’s efficiency for the benefit of the users, increasing the performance of various tools, and working as a service provider for different organizations in the field.
The year was marked by a large amount of constructive energy and impressive results. The organization has carefully developed new partnerships, including with the Canadian Dairy Network (CDN) and Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) for the development of the national dairy cattle traceability solution, thus continuing to pursue ATQ’s mission in similar fashion as it has already done with the Canadian Pork Council (CPC).
Agri-Traçabilité Québec would like to sincerely thank the industry’s producers and stakeholders, and all of its partners, for their close collaboration, which has undeniably contributed to the reliability and durability of Quebec’s traceability system.
