Transmitting your traceability data
Since March 14, 2016, all mandatory information as per the Regulation respecting the identification and traceability of certain animals, sent as an electronic file or with SimpliTRACE, must comply with the data format required by the system.
If the data being transmitted are incomplete or contain an error, this information will not be recorded and an error message from the system will indicate the nature of corrections that must be made.
Since March 14, 2016, with the launch of the SimpliTRACE application, some new data transmission rules are in effect. These new requirements, that aim to improve the quality of data sent in to the ATQ system, will have an impact on certain types of information that need to be communicated when collecting and transferring data.
The implementation of the new rules will not modify under any circumstances the obligations of animal owners or custodians as stated in the Regulation respecting the identification and traceability of certain animals in Quebec.
The rules that will be coming into effect result from an analysis and optimization initiative of the Quebec traceability database, completed by Agri-Traçabilité Québec (ATQ) in collaboration with the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) and La Financière agricole du Québec (FADQ).
Important: Please note that in the SimpliTRACE application, if the mandatory information is not sent, or is not sent in a valid format, the processing of a declaration or a file will not be completed.Kobe 11 Mentality
